Entering into the New Season

Since Healing Rooms Ministries began 12 years ago, we have not seen a time such as this. We are in awe at what God is doing. It is as though there is an extreme change up. Everything is shifting into Kingdom alignment. God is getting us ready for the heavenly invasion we have been reading about. The atmosphere at the international office is filled with expectation and anticipation.

In October, as I attended the Voice of the Apostles Conference in Lancaster, PA, the Holy Spirit captured me. He said, “Everything is going to change.” He really got my attention, when He said, “When you minister, I’m tired of being your spectator.” He said, “When you go up to the pulpit, you take notes and a book, but I am going to give you an option. You can take a book or the Author.” I had always known that if we had meetings where it was only the Holy Spirit and the lost and sick, that there would be no limit to the demonstration of God’s power of love. The Holy Spirit was saying, “I am going to show you how I desire to work.” He called me to fast for 40 days beginning, November 1, to learn to hear what He is saying. He said, “What ‘I’ say carries the power, what ‘you’ say releases it.” I have entered into 40 days of learning how to hear the Holy Spirit so that He can minister without being restricted.

I have known for a long time what’s coming and is here, in regard to the current state of the world. I also know that as darkness covers the earth, the glory of the Lord will arise upon us. (Isaiah 60) We are about to enter that season in 2012. We have cried out for signs, wonders and miracles. I have desired to see limbs grow out as extra ordinary miracles take place. This is what’s coming as the glory of the Lord comes upon us. The Holy Spirit said, “I am preparing you for this. When limbs begin to grow out, barrenness will be broken and you will see mental illness, down syndrome, and crippled children healed continuously. Every kind of sickness will fall under My power.”

He said, “You must contend for this, for this is what the nations desire to see. This will come by My Kingdom and bring my glory upon the earth. This will provide My answer to a fallen generation. As I am preparing you, My light will arise upon you and your brightness will cause the people of all nations to come to what I am doing. This must be received by My bride everywhere. I am your God and I will do it!

Spiritual Hunger Review

Crowd at Spiritual Hunger Conference

The Spiritual Hunger Conference continues to get better every year. Kelanie Gloeckler rocked the house and stirred our spirits to connect to heaven and has agreed to come back for worship again next year! The prophetic art during worship by Crystal McDaniel and Shirley Proctor also added an enriching depth and evoked thought provoking participation.

Healings were abundant during the conference. Many were healed of learning disorders such as dyslexia and bi-polar. Friday night was amazing in that 50-60 people came to the front to testify that God dissolved or somehow got rid of metal in their bodies!

Cal Pierce encouraged and stirred as only the “Dad” of this ministry can. He shared and stirred a passion in us to press into God and His kingdom. Quoting Romans 8:19-22, Cal elaborated on how all of creation is waiting for the revealing of the sons and daughters of God. Referring to the revelation that God gave him on the 5th Great Awakening that we are entering, Cal said we should expect and partner with angelic activity for signs wonders and miracles. The light of God is shining on the end time bride, setting the Kingdom of God into the earth and Healing Rooms has a great part in that! Bill Johnson stirred the imagination with multiple great one-liners and released healing for many through declaration and audience participation. He said there was a spirit of breakthrough for people to ignite nations and that we need to take it seriously that we walk in divine favor and are blessed. God’s nature is best reflected through people who are blessed and it will get the attention of nations. Referring to Psalm 67, Bill said that our blessing releases something to the nations as we get released into more blessing.

He also said that the gifts are free but that maturity is expensive, and that there has to be choice so we can be rewarded for making the right choice. The example given was that Jesus put Judas in charge of the money to give him a chance to succeed where he was weak. Bill later said that every person is due honor and that we should celebrate the gifts of God resting on a person and recognize the good and God in people.

Beni Johnson released an encouraging word which she entitled, Position, Position, Position Yourself. She had all women over 50 stand to receive prayer to be free of what the world says they have to go through physically and emotionally as they age. She said that God would give us supernatural wisdom to get healthy and that we could expect supernatural intervention to implement it. She also said that it was important to declare that we are not affected by what people say we have to go through in older age. She said, “If you are only begging God for things you are missing it. You need to start declaring things as well!”

Scott and Shari Norvell gave a great summary of the importance and effectiveness of Terraforming or transformational prayer as we refer to it here in Spokane. Many powerful testimonies were given of flooding being stopped, storms dissipating, and abortion laws being overturned. They have seen the atmosphere change in the land.

We encourage you to get this teaching to learn more about how terraforming prayer could benefit your ministry. Barbie Hunt shared that you are never too young or too old to pray. In their Healing Rooms they made a decision to trust the Holy Spirit in children. Adults, many times, get discouraged if they don’t see the healing manifest right away. With children it isn’t always about being healed or not. They don’t ask why, they just look to see what God is doing. Because of this, she said the most important reason to have a child’s team in your Healing Rooms is to help the adults!

People drive for 2-3 hours to have kids lay hands on them and pray for them. The children need the freedom to just swoop in, knock stuff off and out of people, and then swoop out. Getting this CD from our Healing Rooms online bookstore is well worth the investment, even if it is just for the great testimonies Barbie shares about the success and simplicity of the children’s faith and prayers. Jim White – What can we say about this session? Jim was very transparent about past trials and storms he has faced in his life to bring him to the place he is now. Many of the details he shared will be in his new book, Brought Through, that will be released soon. It would be impossible to relate this story as Jim shared it, so we encourage you to get the CD of the Saturday morning session from the SHC of 2011 off our website, (ICB).

Be ready for a roller coaster ride of emotions that Jim’s story will stir, from the heart wrenching details of rejection, pain and false accusation to God’s strong hand of deliverance, direction, and tender mercies.

Ending the conference, Cal challenged us to look toward 2012 with expectation. Things are changing. He said, “Spiritual Hunger Conference of 2012 is not going to be the same!”

The Place of Intercession

Let’s talk about intercession, at one time I read that all intercession was prayer, but that not all prayer was intercession. I believe that is a true statement, but if that is a true statement then what is intercession? Intercession has been described as travailing prayer, praying through and burden bearing. I have been saying for some time that intercession was going to look different going forward. One morning, not too long, ago I asked the Holy Spirit about this and His reply was that,”You need to go to the place of intercession.” I wasn’t exactly sure where that was when He responded, “It is at the right hand of the Father, where Jesus ever lives to make intercession for us” Hebrew 7:25

I believe that we need to spend more of our prayer time being still before Him, waiting to enter His presence. It is a place where Jesus would withdraw from the crowds and His own followers. The place from which He could say, “I can only do what things that I see my Father do,” John 5:19

It is from that place that you can begin to declare and do what you have seen, it is not so much about interceding as it is about entering in. True intercession is about seeing and to see clearly takes a level of consecration and being a vessel set apart, something that we don’t see enough of. But that is beyond the scope of. But this article, for now we need to be encouraged to approach our prayer and intercession in a little bit different light.

A Ticket to Love

In this time, with Jesus being continuously our most important focus, I saw a parallel to describe how being a partner with the Healing Rooms is released; it is through love.
I have been working with my kids each month on a new character trait, and it has become a fun focus to activate every 30 days. There are ways to turn subjects like obedience, attentiveness, and gratefulness into games to be won with prizes.
This month, we chose “love” to practice with. What is unique about this character trait is that the whole way to win is to give away. In previous months, my kids would receive recognition in the form of treats, prizes and money when they demonstrated “attentiveness”, for example. But this month, the rules were, to give away as many tickets to other members of the household as they could, when they recognized someone else displaying “love”. The winner would be the one with the most tickets. What I didn’t tell them was the real winner, would be the one who gave away the most tickets.
At the Healing Rooms there are many ways to enter in. You may be called to learn or release your authority, so you join the prayer team. You may have a desire to stir up a city, so you join the School of Transformation or begin praying on the land team. You could be excited about being a world changer, so you open a Healing Room in your area as a vehicle. Or maybe what is most important is to come for prayer or to hear a speaker. There are many ways to engage in the free gifts, but partnership is a true act of love.
We do not desire Jesus because of what we can get from Him. We do it because He is what we have been created for. However, we are also not unaware of the enormous personal benefit that following Him provides.
When someone decides to partner with us, it is because they are in agreement with the vision, and desire to sow their seed into that vision, so that it can be multiplied on the earth. That is an expression of love. What is given is not measured, that is between you and God, but when you partner it becomes a covenant between us.
The character trait of “love” is like the color “white”- the visible expression of all color combined as light. Same as “love” is the full expression of all the character traits rolled into one.
Prayer of Saint Francis
Lord, make me an instrument of your peace.
Where there is hatred, let me sow love.
Where there is injury, pardon.
Where there is doubt, faith.
Where there is despair, hope.
Where there is darkness, light.
Where there is sadness, joy.
O Divine Master,

For it is in giving that we receive.

Healing Rooms of Purcellville

Lyme Disease – I came for prayer to the Healing Rooms of Purcellville (December) for Lyme Disease. I had been tested 2 times for Lyme and was found positive. I received the results of a Lyme test from a couple days ago. Two times the test showed negative for Lyme. I took no antibiotics, but I did feel led to take a new detox program that the Lord led me to. The doctors were quite surprised…

Healing Rooms of Santa Maria

Knees – Dana had a fall in front of a restaurant, February 5th and did the splits. As she was getting prayer, her left knee snapped and popped back into place. The hip and back nerves are completely healed! Feb 8, 2011

Heart – I have had 2 heart surgeries. The doctor said one of the valve replacements was going to have to be replaced by another surgery. But, no surgeon would take me on, and I was told if I did have it, I would probably die on the table or have a stroke. Well, I ran to Jesus at the Healing Rooms for weekly prayer. The new tests results show I do NOT need surgery. My valves are working properly. Thanks be to Jesus my healer!

Fertility – Today, I received an email from a lady who came three years ago for ministry not having been able to fall pregnant. Her son is now two years old! She also had prayer for serious trouble with her teeth. She has not had any trouble since. Yeah God!

“The result of a fall was a badly bruised left knee causing considerable pain. I had prayer…. The next day I had NO pain and NO sign of any bruising”

Perfect Peace

We are in an hour where everything is being shaken. World economies are faltering. Gas and food prices are at an all time high. Whole populations are rebelling against their governments. There is no confidence that things will get better any time soon. The prophets are prophesying all kinds of things. We hear words of judgment, earthquakes, food and water shortages, and prosperity coming to God’s people.

We seem to hear about all the things that shake our confidence and produce fear and anxiety. The big question needs to be; what am I supposed to do? If we don’t know what our position in God needs to be, we will walk in fear and anxiety. The will of the enemy is to cause fear and anxiety in God’s people in this hour. Faith releases us, fear binds us up.

Let me tell you, God is not worried about the problems on the earth. He is not looking for the answer. He is the answer. God is our source and our refuge. In Him we have peace.

Peace I leave with you; my peace I give to you; not as the world gives, do I give you. Let not your heart be troubled, nor let it be fearful. John 14:27

Jesus says that He gives us His peace, a peace that surpasses all understanding. He tells us we cannot rely on the world’s peace. With His peace, our heart will not be troubled, nor will it be fearful. If God is not anxious about the world, then why should we be?

Philippians 4:6 tells us how to guard our hearts and minds so that we walk in peace.

Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your request be made known to God.

4:7:
And the peace of God, which surpasses all comprehension, shall guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.

It is by prayer and supplication, with thanksgiving, that we make our request known to God, and the peace of God will guard, not only our hearts, but also our minds. The word supplication means to bind. In other words to bind on earth so that it will be bound in heaven. (Matt. 16:19) In verse 7, when it says that the peace of God which surpasses all comprehension will guard our hearts and minds; the word peace means the prosperity of God. This is referring to the provision of His kingdom providing peace because God is our provider.

God is our provider at all times. We only have fear when the world is our provider rather than God. God will provide for our families and our healing rooms. When we walk in fear and anxiety, we are fulfilling the will of the enemy. When we make our request known to God with thanksgiving, then He will become a rewarder of those who ask. God gave us His will for one reason, so that we could have the provision it provides.

Be of Good Courage

In this changing world I believe God is saying to be vigilant in hearing Him and trusting in His end time plan. He’s got it all figured out. We can trust Him! Isaiah 43:18-19 says, Behold, I am doing a new thing! Now it springs forth; do you not perceive and know it and will you not give heed to it? I will even make a way in the wilderness and rivers in the desert. And Isaiah 44:8 says, Fear not, nor be afraid (in the coming violent upheavals); have I not told it to you from of old and declared it? And you are My witnesses! Is there a God besides me? There is no (other) Rock. I know not any. Amplified Bible

With that in mind, here’s an encouraging quote from Chapter 11 of Johnny Enlow’s book, The Seven Mountain Mantle:

“I was awakened at 3:43 a.m. in December 2008, and the Lord instructed me to go look at Psalm 34:3: Oh, magnify the Lord with me, And let us exalt His name together. The Lord began to speak to me;

My people are magnifying their fears, their doubts, their concerns, their anxieties. I am very large for them at this time, and I need you to tell them to magnify Me so that they will see Me the size that I actually am. For those who get a vision of my true size, I will cause these next seven years to be seven years of plenty.” On page 67 he goes on to say, “It is imperative for rising Josephs to see that they are called not to seek riches but to meet needs in uncommon, unique, brilliant, God inspired ways. When they do, a financial bonanza will frequently accompany the solution and become an additional blessing.”

In this “third day” hour God is positioning and preparing us to be the solution to what is ahead. Isn’t it true that when we are faced with adversity, God stirs us out of complacency to a place of falling on our faces? Are we not more ready to trade in our weak and failing “plans and agendas” for His master plan that has been in place since the foundations of the world? Take courage and get ready to be a part of the great outpouring of God’s Glory, solutions and provision to a world that is crying out for answers!

Greetings from Spokane!

Early in January this year the Lord spoke to me and said that I needed to get comfortable with being uncomfortable. I took that to mean that things were going to change, but not necessarily to my liking. I sensed this word was not for me alone but for the church at large. Then while in a conference at the end of January, the Lord spoke again and said to me, “You are in the most dangerous season that you have ever been in, but you can be safer than you have ever been.” Again I felt that this was not for me alone.

Several weeks later the Lord woke me up every hour on the hour speaking to me, impressing me with an urgency to speak about getting ready for the things that are coming. I have been hesitant to share. I told the Lord that I did not want to alarm people. At that point He spoke very clearly to me, “I want them alarmed, I want them aware, and I want them awake.” He then became very adamant, “BUT I DO NOT WANT THEM TO BE AFRAID. ”

It doesn’t take a rocket scientist to know that our nation is in trouble, and that for the most part the church is in a state of slumber. So I want to urge everyone to pray for the church that she will arise and that the world will finally see the church that Jesus died for in Matt 16:18.

Pray for the nation that we may turn her back to God and that America will be able to fulfill the destiny that I believe the Lord has for her. Also we need to be praying for Israel and the peace of Jerusalem, Ps.122:6, and our nation’s relationship with her, that we will not pressure Israel to do anything that is not God’s will.

Steven and Helen Anderson, our Healing Rooms IAHR National Directors for Scotland, were also appointed to be our IAHR Acting National Advisors for Northern Ireland and the Republic of Ireland around last September. Here is an account of what’s been happening since:

Helen and I undertook our first trip to Ireland as acting National Directors in February this year. We received a great welcome and many doors were opened to us to equip the believers and to minister at Healing Services in both the north and south of the country. This beautiful land has a rich heritage of healing and miracles from the days of the Celtic monks, like St. Patrick. There is just one Healing Room open at the moment in the Belfast area, but we conducted training in Kilkenny in the south and they plan to open very soon. Several other people expressed interest in opening rooms and we have invitations to return in June to conduct training courses.

One Sunday morning we took part in a Healing Service in a new church plant in a very deprived area of Dublin. One lady came in a wheelchair, paralysed down her left side and unable to move her left arm or leg. As we prayed she moved her left hand but that was all. However we heard that the next morning she was out of the wheelchair and walking the length of her garden!

In Scotland we continue to see the Lord moving in wonderful ways with many being healed physically and emotionally, and good numbers coming to faith. One of our Glasgow rooms recently received the following testimonies: a lady diagnosed with bowel cancer and given about 12-18 months to live was given the all-clear after she received prayer; a woman who had suffered from continual bleeding for years experienced instant healing; and a young man who was seriously mentally disturbed and suicidal has been restored to sound mental health.
